It reminds me of when I went to Spanish-Basque side in San Sebastian Donostia.. And the locals taught me that the Grilled Foie Gras concept in North Spain Basque was actually brought to the region via the French Queen vacating down South just past the Spanish borders back in the days. All 3 Countries are adjoined next to each another, also with Portugal side. To me this was very moving to my heart, because this Spanish Basque gentleman brushed aside his own ego and pride, but told me how the neighbour's worked together to create what this finally became 😊
Looking now at Hong Kong & China side, obviously we share the common DNA ancestries, and the apparent 1 Country 2 Systems put into place since 1997. Initially, back then the Chinese Leaders knew Hong Kong was more advanced and linked to the rest of the World when it came to True Democracy experience. Many of us down South knew this already and hence why we decides to fight back, to protect our own Legacy & for the World 🌎, sacrificing a lot in the process. Totalitarian control over your own Citizens is totally not cool anymore in 21st Century and beyond.. But some people still don't get it, being afraid of losing total control. At the end of the Day, many of us in Hong Kong carry a long term Vision, and know precisely how to react back. Don't underestimate us here in Hong Kong, and behind all the propaganda moves or biased fake news u might see on your TV screens, rest assured that we are fighting back right from here. The Empire isn't quite ready to Strike Back because this isn't 15th Century, but the Returns of the Jedis are fully in Force. It is for the Benefit of the Rest of the World in Future, trust us🔮🗺
